Reasons for choosing this as an artefact
I chose this as my third Artefact as it was the first major project i worked on, and i continued to work on this throughout the year. i feel this showcases my learning and skills throughout the year and i feel it is an overall decent track.
Elements to Include
-Minimum of 4 MIDI tracks
-Minimum of 4 Audio tracks
-Use compression on either or both of individual tracks or the Master track.
-Use Reverb / Delay / Echo (either on tracks or as sends and returns)
-Minimum of 2 minutes long.
Planning Stage
After looking over the creative breif for this project, and looking at many styles of music i could make, I ended up decidint to make a Mackeena tune, I decided to do this as its a genre im not overly farmiiar with and i wanted to challenge myself. I feel i succeded in making an overall decent track that is of a good and professional standard/.
Drums
I used a few different MIDI Drum and And audio sample drum tracks for this project, i applied some effects such as reverb to these to make them sound better.
Risers and Buildups
I added in many risers and build ups to give the track more life and character, i feel they really added to the track as a whole.
